Tastia is a multi-cuisine fine dining restaurant co-founded by 4 partners—Austin D’Souza, Naveen D’Souza, Vincent Lasrado, and Rakesh Kakkar—under the brand Kraving Foods and Beverages. We are consulted by Chef Sebastian Fernandes, a veteran of the culinary world who oversees multiple restaurants across India.
The D’Souza brothers have long been committed to hospitality. They started with catering during their growing years in Mumbai but later pursued conventional business opportunities in Dubai. Yet, the idea of opening a restaurant in their hometown was always slow-cooking in the background. In 2023, they returned to hospitality as restaurateurs.
Vincent Lasrado brings with him strong experience in supply chain and human resource management. A connoisseur of authentic cuisine and hidden gems, he also has a keen eye for sourcing fresh produce at the right price, ensuring quality and value go hand in hand at Tastia.
Rakesh Kakkar, an avid explorer, loves discovering new places and sharing his experiences with the world. A spirited host known for his energy and warmth, his home is always filled with guests. Whether it's a festive gathering or an impromptu celebration, he brings together entertainment, food, and travel into one wholesome experience.
The dishes served at Tastia reflect the partners’ global exposure to international cuisines and deep love for Indian food. It is through a thoughtful curation of flavours and consistently warm service that Tastia has grown into one of the highest-rated restaurants on the old Mumbai–Pune highway.
Our menu celebrates everything from everyone’s favourites to eclectic offerings like Char-Grilled Eggplant with Tomato Basil Sauce and Herb Rice, Grilled Prawns in Parsley Butter with Lentil Risotto, Pan-Fried Fish with Walnut Pesto and Spaghetti, and Kozhikode Prawns Biryani, among others from the Pan-Asian, Continental, and Indian cuisines.
